She had cancer and we put her through six chemo treatments. She appeared to be responding really well. She had no ill side effects and after a few treatments her tumor had shrunk about fifty percent. she was quickly back to her old self. </div><div style="text-align: center;">Crazy, spastic, gregarious, humorous and our best friend! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3b1JNj6DkpZnWAUH_FjoPcv8eteqYdfXaZZUilXX2qDExswGkn-0caouEaPSyBpJwLA89N5QAHbIhXYctc3ZGA3qR8zVGCiB-1x84nsu4eoSCK6URF5jnL8c9MYRhI9oihyphenhyphen6RCdaTUcXn/s1600/OY.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3b1JNj6DkpZnWAUH_FjoPcv8eteqYdfXaZZUilXX2qDExswGkn-0caouEaPSyBpJwLA89N5QAHbIhXYctc3ZGA3qR8zVGCiB-1x84nsu4eoSCK6URF5jnL8c9MYRhI9oihyphenhyphen6RCdaTUcXn/s1600/OY.jpg" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Fast forward about six weeks after her last chemo and she started showing signs her tumor was growing. She was less interested in eating and she was having some weird breathing issues. she could breathe, it was just off a bit here and there. </div><div style="text-align: center;">We took her to the vet on a friday to get her checked out and while at the vet she had a very scary episode ( i will spare the details ) but let's just say it was not good. emotional and frantic. they had to rush her off to critical care unit at the hospital and we were in the waiting room for a couple of hours not knowing what was going on. When we did find out the details, there was no hope for her. She had massive fluid build up around her lungs, which the vet said was most likely cancerous fluid. </div><div style="text-align: center;">The cancer had grown into her heart and was causing her heart to not work properly. It had to work extra hard just to keep going and it wasn't going to last much longer. We tried to bring her home for the night so she could be calm and relaxed and get a ton of love before we were to put her to sleep the next day. Once home, she collapsed and passed out from walking up our back porch steps. We moved her to the couch to rest but it was only getting worse. So we made a trip back to the vet, had a room to ourselves and said our goodbyes to her. our sweet olive.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;"> it has been just over a week and we are still struggling a bit to get our house feeling back like a home without her. she was such a force. she was love and she was funny. she was our family and we are missing every second of her.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: center;">i have to forgive my dad. as a parent and as a person i have to accept that he did the best he could with what he had. he did the best as he could, being the person that he is.</div><div style="text-align: center;">growing up until about age 10, when my parents got divorced, my dad was my hero. he was my best friend.he was my every day. i spent more time with him than i did with my mom. he was the best pal a little girl could ask for. at least until life got hard. and changed.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;
